Meet Brandon Scheid

Brandon is a lifelong waterman and professional foiler with decades of experience at the highest levels of wind and water sports. With a deep understanding of hydrofoiling across multiple disciplines and extensive knowledge of modern equipment, he specializes in helping riders progress efficiently and safely. Passionate about teaching, Brandon brings patience, clear communication, and an infectious enthusiasm to every session, creating a supportive environment where learning feels natural, confidence grows quickly, and every rider leaves the water more capable — and more stoked — than when they arrived.

Refining his coaching craft in Cape Hatteras while competing at the highest level, Brandon built an elite career as a professional kiteboarder—earning 5× Triple S titles and 2× AWSI Kiteboarder of the Year honors, and becoming a respected figure within the industry. Across more than 15 years of podiums and wins, he’s developed a depth of experience that now fuels his impact in wind sports. He also played a key role in advancing hydrofoiling within kiteboarding, contributing to the development of one of the first extruded aluminum hydrofoils designed specifically to make learning accessible to a wider audience.
